"A bequest in our will to benefit the Hutchinson Center is one way we will ensure a better future for our children and grandchildren." — Wayne and Betty Gott

Wayne and Betty Gott of Salem, Missouri, value their small-town life, close family ties with nearby children and grandchildren, working in their family businesses and singing in their church choir. They also value the lifesaving work of the Hutchinson Center, because, like many, the Gott's lives have been touched by cancer. They are longtime annual supporters who also have made arrangements to leave a bequest to the Hutchinson Center.

"Our son is alive today because of his bone-marrow transplant at the Hutchinson Center," Betty said. "The excellent care he received from the doctors and nurses and their commitment to furthering research greatly impressed us."

"We know scientists now have the opportunity to understand cancer in entirely new ways and we are proud to play our role in furthering this progress. Knowing that cancer diagnosis and treatment will be greatly enhanced for our grandchildren and great-grandchildren makes us feel good."
